Regardless of which type of tariff you select, you may be liable for associated smart meter upgrade charges from PowerWater, which Rimfire Energy will pass through to you at cost on your first electricity invoice. Details of these charges are included in our Product and Price Sheet[1]. We will not know if a smart meter upgrade is required until after we have received your application and confirmed the meter type with PowerWater. If a smart meter upgrade is required we will contact you to discuss your options before proceeding.

Commercial - Peak operation (6am to 6pm all days) and Off-Peak operation (6pm to 6am all days). Not available to solar customers.

Domestic - Peak operation (6am to 6pm weekdays including public holidays) and Off Peak operation (6pm to 6am weekdays and all weekends). Not available to solar customers.

Transfer Fees

I acknowledge that a fee for transfer according to PowerWater’s published Network Tariffs will be on my first electricity bill. Transfer will occur by the first day of the following month with approved applications received by Rimfire Energy by the 15th day of each month.
